Crispy Sesame Tofu
Notes from Peggy Robinson

1 pound firm tofu, Chinese stlye
3 Tbsp "chicken" seasoning
1 cup water
1/3 cup toasted sesame oil
1/2 cup brown sesame seeds

Drain water form tovu and wrap in several layers of clean cloth for several minutes to remove excess moisture.

Cut tofu in cubes.

Mix 1 cup of water and the "chicken" seasoning and pour over the cubes.

Let marinade for about 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally to cover all pieces. Put in a colander to drain.

Put tofu in a bowl and drizzle with sesame oil and seeds.

Carefully toss with hands to evenly coat tofu pieces.

Place tofu cubes on a cookie sheet and broil for 15 minutes, then turn and broil again for 10 minutes(or until crispy and golden).

Experiment with different marinades, such as teriyaki, etc.

If you want it crispier, broil it longer.
